If you are an avid crafter or just looking for a chance to meet new people, you might want to check out Create & Connect in Aspley (Brisbane).
Workshops typically run for 2 hours and every week brings a new craft and a new opportunity to meet people and have fun.
With an understanding of the different challenges faced, Hayley at Create & Connect has provided an accessible space that is mobility and sensory friendly. Before you attend your first class, you will need to fill out a quick form to help the team at Create & Connect make sure the workshop you are attending is fun, comfortable and as inclusive as possible.
Workshop prices are for two people as participants are asked to bring someone with them – a support worker, family member or friend. If needed, a support worker can be arranged for you on request. If you have an NDIS plan, you may be able to use these funds.
You can find all the details for Create and Connect on their Facebook page or email [email protected].
